Cutting and processing are critical aspects of using pre-coated films. Cutting tools should be kept sharp, and cutting speeds should be moderate to prevent peeling or burrs at the film edges. Stamping, bending, and other processing operations should be adjusted in force and angle according to the thickness and flexibility of the film to avoid excessive stretching or compression. During processing, if exposed to high temperatures or chemical media, isolation or protective measures should be taken to ensure the coating performance is not affected.
Storage and protection also affect the effectiveness of pre-coated films. Unused pre-coated films should be rolled up or laid flat in a dry, ventilated environment, avoiding direct sunlight and moisture, and kept away from strong acids, alkalis, and other chemicals. For films already bonded to substrates, prolonged friction or exposure to high temperatures should be avoided as much as possible to maintain surface gloss and protective properties. Through proper operation and management, the service life of pre-coated films can be effectively extended, achieving optimal protection and decorative effects in fields such as construction, home appliances, and transportation.
